PUNCH & JUDY- ORIGIN STORY
The Punch & Judy characters have been a feature of the lives of us who are old enough to have kids. Sitting cross legged, ice cream in hand, on the seafront shouting “HE’S BEHIND YOU!!” Happy carefree days when life seemed so simple.
Mum’s and Dad’s also owed a debt of thanks to Punch & Judy as they had happily entertained kids - meaning they could relax and enjoy some down time together beside the seaside.This concept of happy engaged kids was translated in the early 1950s onto the first toothpaste brand dedicated to them.
